Actor Mark Wahlberg was spotted having dinner at the bar at the Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown on Tuesday night. Washingtonian's Carol Joynt spotted the "Pain & Gain" star dressed casually in a T-shirt eating with a group of four or five people. "I asked Mark if he was in town working, filming and he said, 'No, we're going to the White House tomorrow,' " Joynt told Yeas & Nays. Wahlberg indeed visited the White House on Wednesday, but beforehand stopped by T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria to motivate students to stay in school, according to the Washington Post. Afterward he visited 1600 Penn to discuss graduation rates.
