Kate McKinnon added another political figure to her lengthy resume on "Saturday Night Live": WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Her depiction of Assange meets with Donald Trump Jr. (Mikey Day) and brother Eric Trump (Alex Moffatt) in a dark parking lot underneath the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, where Assange has stayed in asylum for several years.
Assange and Trump Jr. were thrust back into the spotlight this week after it was revealed President Trump's oldest son and WikiLeaks had been in contact via Twitter during and after the election.

During the skit, McKinnon's fake Assange was there to hand over emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee. However, unlike Clinton, who is another one of McKinnon's characters, Assange is “not some dumb blonde you can take advantage of," the actress said.
The sketch also follows a report this past week from the Wall Street Journal that said special counsel Robert Mueller issued a subpoena to former Trump campaign officials in mid-October, ordering them to hand over Russia-related materials. The "SNL" sketch, which imagined the meeting taking place during the 2016 campaign last year, was titled "The Mueller Files."
