Steve Harvey: I won't be attending Trump inauguration because my wife said no

Television personality Steve Harvey won't be attending President-elect Trump's inauguration because his wife won't allow it.

Harvey met with Trump Friday at Trump Tower in New York City where the two discussed inner cities reform.

When asked by reporters after the meeting whether he would be attending Trump's inauguration on Jan. 20, Harvey said he would not.

"No I'll be turning 60 on Tuesday and my wife is taking me far away," Harvey said. "So I won't be at anybody's inauguration because my wife said 'no.'"

Harvey was also asked about the Trumps appearing on "Family Feud," the game show he hosts. He has mulled having the incoming first family face off against the Obamas or the Clintons, saying, "If I could set it up, it would be skyrocketing for the ratings."
