Stormy Daniels, the adult film star who allegedly had an extra-marital affair with President Trump shortly after he married Melania in 2005, has cancelled her upcoming appearance on ABC's "The View."
Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, was slated to "discuss her newfound attention" with the show's panel on Thursday in light of a report Trump's personal lawyers paid her $130,000 ahead of the 2016 election as part of a nondisclosure agreement purportedly regarding her relationship with Trump.
But an ABC spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday Daniels had pulled the plug on the interview.
Daniels was a special guest on comedian Jimmy Kimmel's ABC late night program Tuesday, during which she suggested the signature on a statement denying the supposed tryst with Trump was forged.
“Did you sign this letter that was released today?” Kimmel asked her.
“I don't know, did I? Doesn't look like my signature, does it?” she responded.
Daniels and Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen have refuted the allegations that a payment was made.
