6 teens indicted in Woodley Park Metro station slaying
Six Prince George's County teenagers were indicted Wednesday in the stabbing death of an 18-year-old Olney man at the Woodley Park Metro station, prosecutors said. A grand jury charged the youths with murder, armed robbery and other offenses. One of the defendants, 17-year-old Chavez Myers, had previously been charged with murder. But the indictment alleges that all six of the teens were responsible for the death of Olijawon Griffin on Nov. 17. Myers was charged with first-degree premeditated murder while armed. The other five defendants -- 16-year-old Muquan Cawthorne, 16-year-old Isaiah Gant, 17-year-old Gary Maye, 17-year-old Deon Jefferson, and 17-year-old Immanuel Swann -- were charged with felony murder. They were all charged as adults.
