JLaw takes a spill on Oscars stage

While heading up the stairs to the Oscars stage to accept her award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, 22-year-old Jennifer Lawrence took a major tumble.

Dressed in a gorgeous, voluminous, Dior haute couture gown, the "Silver Linings Playbook" leading lady had told US Weekly on the red carpet earlier that night that "I kind of feel like a high-maintenance pain in the ass because there is a 5-foot circumference around me." But, she insisted, "I am surprisingly comfortable."

After an embarrassing face-plant, Jennifer recovered with grace and brushed off the fall, joking to the audience, "You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell -- it's really embarrassing."

After accepting her award, JLaw continued to make light of the incident, telling reporters, "What went through my mind when I fell down? A bad word that I can't say that starts with 'F.' "

And to one reporter who probed her for more details, asking what had happened, she quipped, "What do you mean, 'What happened?' Look at my dress! I tried to walk up stairs in this dress. That's what happened. I don't actually ... I think I just stepped on the fabric and they waxed the stairs."

But Jennifer's putting the fall out of her mind the best she can. According to US Weekly, she was planning to celebrate her major win relaxing at home: "I see my couch. I see TV. I see a bottle of wine!"

Cheers, Jennifer! You deserve it.

Prince Jackson to appear on '90210'

The late Michael Jackson's eldest son, 16-year-old Prince, will be starring in the season finale of "90210," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Prince's latest career move follows the news last week that he will be an on-air correspondent for Entertainment Tonight.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight's Brooke Anderson, Prince said, "I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor."

Looks like the budding star has it all figured out -- which is more than most 20-somethings can say.

Spice Girls' Mel B joins 'America's Got Talent'

Scary Spice has joined NBC's "America's Got Talent," replacing judge Sharon Osbourne, who left after last season because of an argument with the network.

Melanie Brown will appear on the eight season of 'AGT' this summer with judges Howard Stern and Howie Mandel.

The former pop princess is excited about her new gig: "It's so exciting to be bringing some girl power to the panel!"

Let's just hope that after last season's ratings drop, Mel can bring the show some positive buzz, or it may get the ax.
