If Justin Bieber beat you up, would you admit it?
For one of his neighbors in Calabasas, Calif., dropping the hammer on Justin is apparently worth the humiliation. Police went to JB's house to investigate after the "Baby" singer and a male neighbor got into it Tuesday morning, sources tell TMZ.
The neighbor reportedly went onto the pop star's property to complain about the loud parties taking place at Justin's house when he was touring overseas. The accuser told sheriff's deputies that Justin then made physical contact with him and threatened him.
The neighbor filed a battery report against the "Beauty and a Beat" singer, but JB's camp says Justin simply told the man to get off his property and had his security escort the neighbor away.
The incident happened a day after news that British actor Clive Mantle, who plays Greatjon Umber on HBO's "Game of Thrones," had part of his ear bitten off when he asked fellow guests at a U.K. Travelodge to quiet down at 4:30 a.m. And Clive is 6-foot-5. Moral of these stories: Buy earplugs, or brass knuckles.
Jay-Z phone home
Having feuded with Lance "Un" Rivera, Prodigy, Nas and Noel Gallagher, Jay-Z finds himself in a beef with ... Paul Anka?
The legendary '60s singer-songwriter, who's penned everything from Frank Sinatra's signature song, "My Way," to Michael Jackson's posthumous hit "This Is It," is collaborating with folks like Willie Nelson, Gloria Estefan and Dolly Parton on an album called "Duets." But guess who won't be on the album.
"I wanted to put him in on a rap with Michael Jackson in the middle." the "Diana" singer tells TMZ. Jay-Z owes him, Paul says, because the rapper sampled "My Way" for his song "I Did It My Way."
"I called him up, but Jay-Z has totally blown me off. He won't answer my calls, he's inappropriate in his behavior," the 71-year-old continues. "I love his wife, I think she's great, but Jay-Z wouldn't return the call. He's too busy with his clothing line, who knows?"
Paul isn't the only legend who's slammed the "Empire State of Mind" singer over missed phone calls. At Leonardo DiCaprio's birthday party in November, Robert De Niro went at Beyonce's husband in full Vito Corleone mode. Jay said hi to the "Taxi Driver" actor, but "Bob wasn't in any mood to make polite conversation," a spy told the New York Post. "He told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn't matter who you are, that is just rude."
Beyonce came over to calm Robert down, but "De Niro kept telling him that he thinks he's the man, but that he was disrespectful," a source told the Post.
Dude, Jay, learn to use your phone.
