MC Hammer in the slammer

Rapper MC Hammer was put in the clink after getting arrested Saturday in at the Hacienda Crossings shopping center in Dublin, Calif., for allegedly resisting an officer and obstructing an officer in the performance of his duties, TMZ reports.

After being released on bail, the "U Can't Touch This" singer took to Twitter, saying he was a victim of racial profiling. MC said the ordeal started when a policeman knocked on his car window and asked him if he was "on parole or probation." "[C]ontrary to his personal beliefs, all people of color are not on parole or probation fat boy !!!" he tweeted.

According to CNN, police said the vehicle MC was driving had expired tags and he was not the registered owner.

After a series of not-so-nice tweets detailing the incident, the 50-year-old decided to take the high road, writing, "Instead of being bitter, I'm taking the opportunity to make this a 'teachable moment' and 'eye opener' for my many friends & colleagues." It might be a little late for that, MC, considering all the mean tweets you already put out into the Twitterverse.

MC will have several weeks to not be bitter before he has to appear in court and face the music.

Kim and Kanye are having a girl

Another baby girl will be joining the Kardashian klan this summer, joining the most recent addition -- Kourtney's 7-month-old daughter, Penelope. According to US Weekly, an insider close to Kim and Kanye said the couple just found out the news and that "they're over the moon! Kanye always wanted a girl."

This will be the first child for the fashionista and rapper, who began dating in April.

"He is so excited. It's really cute how excited he is," Kim said in January of her boyfriend's thoughts on having a baby.

Now the question is, will little Kardashian be bestowed a coveted "K" name? We might have to wait till July to find out that one.
