Maybe Randy Quaid, who a couple of years ago fled to Canada to escape "Hollywood star whackers" systemically killing off celebrities, isn't as crazy as everyone thinks. Someone -- or something -- is going around giving stars seizures.
Count Tone Loc as the latest victim. The rapper collapsed after apparently suffering a seizure onstage during a concert Saturday night in Des Moines, Iowa. Tone was attended to for five minutes before the audience was asked to leave, the Des Moines Register reports.
The Vin Diesel of his day, Tone is best known for hits "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina" -- and being the cool black cop in "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective." Well, these days, he might actually be better known for falling down. Tone collpased during concerts in 2009, 2011 and 2012, TMZ reports, had a seizure last year while watching a comedy show -- Jeff Dunham does that to us, too -- and in 2010 told police who pulled him over for DUI that he had in fact suffered a seizure while driving.
This news comes just days after Kelly Osbourne had a seizure while filming "Fashion Police" and Lil Wayne had a seizure while making a music video. "American Idol" judge Nicki Minaj, Wayne's friend since she signed to his Young Money label in 2007, visited him at the hospital Saturday, TMZ says, with enough get-well balloons to film "Up 2." Or escape to Canada. But it's not a Hollywood star whacker who gave Wayne his seizure, a source tells Us. "He drank too much sizzurp to get a better high." And what is this sizzurp, you may ask? Us describes it as "a highly addictive, narcotic concoction of prescription-strength cough syrup, sugary sodas and hard candies, typically sipped out of Styrofoam cups."
Geritol -- it's not just for old people anymore.
Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest split because "she couldn't handle" his work schedule, a pal tells Us.
Danny DeVito can call off that taxi -- he and wife of 30 years Rhea Perlman are reconciling, a source tells People. Cheers!
Madonna wore a Boy Scout uniform to present Anderson Cooper with a GLAAD Award, and called on the Scouts to end their gay ban.
"He looked at me for four or five seconds, which felt like 15 minutes, and then he said, 'You're going to have to take that up with her.' "
- Sculptor Stacy Poitras of TV's "Chainsaw Gang," to Westlake Magazine, on asking Clint Eastwood for the hand of his daughter Alison. The pair wed Friday.
