Trouble in 'Bachelor' paradise

It's not all Champagne toasts and roses -- did you get that one? -- for "The Bachelor" Sean Lowe and his new fiancee, Catherine Giudici. Despite the rosy exterior and smiling coupley appearances, the born-again virgin and his bride-to-be -- or maybe not -- are having some trouble.

Just one week -- I repeat, one week -- after announcing their engagement, the "happy couple" got into an argument at the Sayers Club in L.A. while celebrating Sean's first performance on "Dancing With the Stars," according to Life & Style. An eyewitness said that "about an hour after they arrived, Sean and Catherine were in a corner, and she was clearly mad at him, yelling at him. Sean was trying to talk to her, but she didn't want to hear it. She was fed up with him and rolled her eyes. Then she started crying, wiping her eyes and looking away from him."

And earlier that night, at the show's afterparty, an eyewitness said, "[T]hey hardly talked. Catherine was texting on her iPhone while Sean was drinking beer and toasting with his buddies that he had flown in from Dallas. He was being very goofy, very frat boyish, and Catherine looked like she didn't want to be there."

More recently, a source told Us Weekly that Catherine is "bored and lonely" in L.A., where she recently moved after Sean accepted a spot on "DWTS."

The source continued: "[Catherine] goes to some 'DWTS' rehearsals, but mostly stays home watching TV."

One of Catherine's pals also told Us that the graphic designer "misses her Seattle crew" and that "[the couple is] supposed to move to Texas, but she has no idea when that'll happen."

The couple must have gotten wind of the media's negative attention, because on Monday night's episode of "DWTS," they were extra lovey-dovey, as if trying to overcompensate for the rumors.

The theme for the night was "The Best Years of Their Lives," and of course, Sean dedicated his dance to his fiancee.

Sean gushed about his new love, saying in a clip, "Without question, the best year of my life was 2012. The experience of being 'The Bachelor' is one thing, but that pales in comparison to finding Catherine. And that's what it's all about."

And he kept going ...

"[Jason Mraz's 'I Won't Give Up'] so perfectly encapsulated everything that I've gone through this year because although I didn't find love the first go-around on 'The Bachelorette,' I was fortunate enough to find it on the second go-around of 'The Bachelor.' "

"I knew Catherine was the one for me because I never wanted to say goodbye to her. ... I wanted to spend every waking minute with her."

And going ...

"This dance definitely holds extra meaning for me because I owe everything to Catherine for putting her life on hold to come down to L.A. to support me. And I hope that she sees how much I love her through this Viennese waltz."

And to top it all off, at the end of his performance with partner Peta Murgatroyd, the King of Sappiness waltzed over to Catherine, who was sitting in the front row, and planted a kiss on her lips, throwing in the perfunctory "I love you."

The crowd seemed to buy it, jumping to its feet in applause, but do you?
