A Republican congressman who voted against Speaker John Boehner's House resolution to sue President Obama said Monday that impeachment is the better option.

BuzzFeed's Andrew Kaczynski posted video on Tuesday of a radio appearance by Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C.

Jones described the lawsuit, which challenges Obama's administrative action to delay the employer mandate in the Affordable Care Act, as waste of money.

"Use the Constitution, that's what it is there for," Jones said.

Jones survived a primary this year against a challenger backed by K Street groups and Sarah Palin.

He is most historically notable for transitioning from being an early advocate of the Iraq War and pushing to call french fries "freedom fries" to being a fierce critic of the conflict.

Jones isn't the only libertarian-leaning Republican to face an establishment candidate in the primaries of 2014. Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mich., also faces a well-funded challenger.
