President Trump demanded Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., "get back to work" Thursday and move forward on his policy agenda following the failed Obamacare vote.

"Mitch, get back to work and put Repeal & Replace, Tax Reform & Cuts and a great Infrastructure Bill on my desk for signing. You can do it!" Trump said on Twitter.

Trump has grown increasingly frustrated with Senate Republicans including McConnell, its majority leader, after their failure to pass health care reforms in July.

The Senate voted 49-51 against a "skinny" repeal of Obamacare which would have removed the mandate requiring Americans to have health insurance and repealed a tax on medical devices the original law put into place.

Trump tweeted Thursday morning McConnell couldn't repeal and replace Obamacare after he had "screamed" about it for 7 years.
