Four days after a 32-year-old woman was run down by a car at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, President Trump issued a statement Wednesday in honor of the victim, Heather Heyer.

"Memorial service today for beautiful and incredible Heather Heyer, a truly special young woman. She will be long remembered by all!" Trump tweeted Wednesday morning.

Heyer was killed and 19 other people were wounded after a person drove a car into a crowd of counter-protesters at Saturday's white nationalist rally.

Trump has issued multiple statements about the incident and most recently said both sides were to blame for the violence at the event.

Trump focused on the positive and touted his support for acting Sen. Luther Strange, R-Ala., as the reason Attorney General Jeff Sessions' temporary successor made it to the top two in Tuesday's special election primary.

"Wow, Senator Luther Strange picked up a lot of additional support since my endorsement. Now in September runoff. Strong on Wall & Crime!"
