President Trump, who claims he has not watched CNN “in months,” said he was “forced” to watch the news network during his visit to the Philippines.

“While in the Philippines I was forced to watch @CNN, which I have not done in months, and again realized how bad, and FAKE, it is. Loser!” Trump tweeted early Wednesday, hours after returning to the White House from his Asia tour.

Trump has railed against CNN, and recent reports have suggested that the Trump administration is pressuring Time Warner to sell off the parent company of CNN as part of its proposed merger with AT&T.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions denied those reports during testimony to the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

Before his CNN tweet, Trump promoted a “Fox and Friends” segment on his trip to Asia.

During his trip abroad, Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that he doesn’t watch “much” television.

“You know, fake reporters, fake sources,” Trump said of previous reports about his TV-watching habits. “But I don’t get to watch much television. Primarily because of documents. I’m reading documents. A lot. And different things. I actually read much more — I read you people much more than I watch television.”
