President Trump is spending part of the day at his New Jersey golf club on Saturday — his 45th trip to one of his golf properties since taking office in January.

The president departed the White House on Friday for a 17-day "working vacation."

Although it is customary for the president to take a vacation in August, Trump's vacation will be twice as long as the one the Obama family took while serving their first year in office, according to the Washington Post.

Trump had been critical of the former president for his golf excursions, including this week from back in 2011.

While on his current trip, "the president will be having meetings with Chief of Staff General Kelly, other White House advisers, and lawmakers while at Bedminster over next two weeks," according to a White house pool report.

It is not clear on whether Trump plans to actually play golf today — a White House official would not say, according to the press pool report.
