President Trump plans to stay at his Trump Tower residence in New York City for the first time as president, according to a report Wednesday.

The president is leaving his Bedminster, N.J., golf club on Sunday and plans to stay in his Trump Tower penthouse for three nights, Politico reported.

Trump will hold meetings on Monday and Tuesday before returning to his golf club on Wednesday.

Trump is out of town for most of August while the West Wing undergoes renovations.

It will be Trump's second time in New York City since he was sworn in as president. His last visit was in May.
