President Trump on Monday put new pressure on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to investigate Hillary Clinton's possible relationship with Russia.

"So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?" Trump tweeted Monday.

The statement marks the second time Trump has indicated he is unhappy with Sessions' performance at the country's top Justice official.

Last week, Trump told reporters he would not have appointed Sessions, a foreign policy adviser to his campaign, to lead the Justice Department if he had known he would recuse himself from the investigation into Trump's alleged ties with Russia.

On Monday, Trump ranted on Twitter about the continued investigation into Russia's interference in the U.S. election and whether the Trump campaign worked with the foreign enemy.

"After 1 year of investigation with Zero evidence being found, Chuck Schumer just stated that 'Democrats should blame ourselves, not Russia," Trump wrote Monday morning.
