President Trump suggested investors who lost money when the stock market fell following ABC's erroneous report alleging Trump told Mike Flynn to make contact with the Russians as a candidate sue the reporter who made the error.

"People who lost money when the Stock Market went down 350 points based on the False and Dishonest reporting of Brian Ross of @ABC News (he has been suspended), should consider hiring a lawyer and suing ABC for the damages this bad reporting has caused - many millions of dollars!" Trump tweeted Sunday.

Ross' report — later corrected to state Trump asked Flynn to make contact with the Russians when he was president-elect — fueled a volatile day on Wall Street. The market closed down 40 points, but at one point dropped 350 points after the report was published.

Ross has since been suspended by ABC and the network apologized for the report, saying it did not go through the proper editorial review process before being published.

Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI on Friday and is the first member of the Trump administration charged in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. He's now cooperating with the probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
