President Trump in late June will headline his first fundraising event since he assumed the presidency in preparation for the 2020 election, according to a report.

Trump is slated to appear at a fundraising dinner on June 28 in Washington, D.C., benefiting Trump Victory, a joint fundraising committee authorized by the Republican National Committee and the Trump campaign.

Those interested in attending are asked to donate $35,000 to the Trump Victory Fund, according to a copy of the invitation obtained by Politico.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and the RNC's national finance chairman, Steve Wynn, are also listed on the invitation.

Since his inauguration, Trump has held campaign-style rallies across the country. However, the fundraising dinner will be the first focused on raising money for his re-election.
