President Trump reportedly praised House Minority Leader Nancy’s Pelosi’s ability to get “things done” in a phone call a day after the election.

“I think we’ll get things done,” Trump told Pelosi when she called him to congratulate him on his stunning election victory, according to Politico.

“I know what you do,” Trump continued. “You’re somebody that gets things done, better than anybody.”

Trump reminded Pelosi that he was a “good” supporter of hers doing his days as a Democratic donor.

“I think you’re terrific,” he told her.

Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer collaborated with the Trump administration on debt ceiling negotiations.

The two Democratic leaders also met with Trump about a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants who arrived in the U.S. as children.
