President Trump is urging Alabama voters to support Republican Roy Moore in next week’s Senate election and said Democrat Doug Jones is a “Pelosi/Schumer Puppet” who would vote against his agenda.

“LAST thing the Make America Great Again Agenda needs is a Liberal Democrat in Senate where we have so little margin for victory already. The Pelosi/Schumer Puppet Jones would vote against us 100% of the time. He’s bad on Crime, Life, Border, Vets, Guns & Military. VOTE ROY MOORE!” Trump tweeted Friday, referencing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

Moore has been accused of pursuing or molesting at least nine women. Most of the women said they were teenagers at the time and he was in his 30s. One woman said Moore initiated sexual contact with her when she was 14 years old, and another said Moore sexually assaulted her when she was 16 years old.

The conservative judge has denied the allegations against him.

After the women came forward to speak of their encounters with Moore, many Republican senators called on the judge to withdraw from the Senate race.

Trump, though, endorsed Moore early this week. The president won’t campaign in Alabama for Moore, but he is attending a rally in Pensacola, Fla., which is near the Alabama border, on Friday.

Alabama voters head to the polls Dec. 12.
