President Trump's disapproval rating among registered voters dropped to 47 percent in February, the lowest level in 10 months, according to a Morning Consult/Politico poll released Wednesday.

The Republican commander in chief's approval rating in the Feb. 8-12 survey was also 47 percent. The last time Trump's approval and disapproval ratings were equal was last April.

Eighty percent of Democrats disapprove of Trump's job performance, while 82 percent of Republicans are happy with his work. Thirty-nine percent of independents approve of Trump, but 49 percent do not.

A RealClearPolitics average shows Trump's recent approval rating is a bit lower, 41 percent, while his disapproval score is a bit higher, 54 percent.

The online poll was conducted among 1,985 registered voters and had a 2 percentage point margin of error.
