District police have arrested two men in connection with a 2007 killing in Northeast Washington.

Police said 27-year-old Michael Antonio Pearson was shot on the night of Oct. 29, 2007 in the 2100 block of Eye Street NE. Pearson suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital where he died.

On Tuesday, police arrested 21-year-old Charles Mason and 21-year-old Jekwon Smith, both of Northeast Washington.

Both were charged with first-degree murder while armed in the fatal shooting of Pearson.
