D.C. police are investigating a late night shooting in Northeast D.C. that left two men injured.

Police said they responded to a call in the 1300 block of Saratoga Avenue around 11:20 p.m. Saturday and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim had been shot twice in the back, while the other was hit in his right arm and leg, according to a D.C. police spokesman.

The injuries were non-life threatening and both victims were transported to a local hospital, police said.

Officers have yet to release information about the suspect, but said they are looking for a burgundy vehicle in connection with the incident.
