DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — The interim dean of the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture at the University of New Hampshire has been named dean of the college.

Jon Wraith has served for three years as associate dean for agriculture and director of the Agricultural Experiment Station.

Before coming to New Hampshire he was a professor in the department of land resources and environmental sciences at Montana State University.

UNH Provost John Aber says Wraith has helped lead UNH to a position of prominence in sustainable agriculture and sustainable ecosystems.

Foster's Daily Democrat (http://bit.ly/LQWzFZ ) reports Wraith's appointment runs through 2016.
