Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie told reporters Wednesday that he has a good working relationship with President Obama, but he hasn't heard from the president since he won re-election.
A reporter asked Christie if perhaps Obama had called him out of a "spirit of bipartisanship."
"He hasn't called me. So I have no idea," Christie replied. "But you know, the president and I have had a very good working relationship and, if he finds a couple of minutes to call, I'd certainly be happy to take his call."
Christie added that perhaps Obama was too busy calling Democrats on election night.
"Maybe he'll get to the folks on the other side of the aisle today," he said.
UPDATE: Shortly after Christie's press conference, ABC News' White House reporter Jonathan Karl reported on Twitter that Obama just called Christie to congratulate him.
