Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared a video of him and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner ahead of a meeting in Israel on Thursday.

"I'm very pleased to see you again Jared, and the delegation. We have a lot of things to talk about: how to advance peace, stability and security in the region. … I think all of them are in our reach," Netanyahu told Kushner. "I'm happy to see you and the effort you're leading on behalf of the president.

"I think this is a sign of a great alliance between us and the great goals that guide us," Netanyahu continued.

Kushner, the president's son-in-law; envoy Jason Greenblatt; and deputy national security adviser Dina Powell are meeting Thursday with Netanyahu. They're also meeting Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday evening.

Kushner is tasked with heading up peace talks in the hope of coming to a resolution on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

"We're very appreciative of your team and all the efforts they've made. The president is very committed to achieving a resolution here that will be able to bring prosperity and peace to all people in this area, and we really appreciate the commitment of the prime minister and his team to engaging very thoroughly and respectfully in the way the president has asked them to do so," Kushner told Netanyahu before the meeting.

"The relationship between Israel and America is stronger than ever, and we really thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for his leadership and his partnership," Kushner continued.
