President Trump will go back to Texas on Saturday to visit areas affected by Hurricane Harvey following his initial visit to the state Tuesday.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told reporters on the way to Corpus Christi, Texas, Tuesday that Trump would be going to "a different part of the state" on Saturday. He's scheduled to visit Corpus Christi and Austin, Texas on Tuesday.

Corpus Christi was among the first cities hit by Harvey as it barreled into the coastline as a Category 4 hurricane. The storm is now a tropical storm, but has become even more dangerous as it dumps feet of rain on the Houston metro area and floods much of the city.

At least eight people are dead, but the death toll could rise Tuesday as levees and dams were breached by rising floodwaters. More than 3,500 people had been rescued, and tens of thousand were expected to be made homeless by the storm.
