Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis doesn't want Texans to think of her as an abortion candidate -- the issues page of her campaign website doesn't even mention health care of any kind.

So it's a curious choice then for the campaign to be raffling off a pair of signed pink tennis shoes just like the ones Davis wore during her 11-hour filibuster of a bill to ban late-term abortions.

The Davis campaign claims that she "wants to give all Texans the opportunities to succeed." That includes those who wish to terminate their pregnancies halfway through the second trimester. And in honor of that small percentage, here’s a pair of signed shoes.

The campaign says that "no purchase, payment or contribution [is] necessary to enter or win" in the fine print, and provides a link to a website where you can enter without donating, but you have to scroll down to find that.

Donation buttons are, of course, much more obvious.
