A woman in her 40s was groped in Falls Church on Friday, and police believe the attack may be related to similar incidents that have taken place in Fairfax County.

About 4:20 p.m. Friday, the victim was walking with a baby stroller in the area of South Maple Avenue and Gibson Street when the suspect approached from behind and groped her. The attacker didn't let go of the woman until she screamed, Falls Church officials said. The baby in the stroller was not hurt.

The suspect is described as a skinny Hispanic male, about 5-foot-6, with medium complexion. He wears his hair short in the back and he may have shaved off his beard. He was wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a red baseball cap.

Fairfax County police have released a sketch of a suspect in a series of fondling incidents that have taken place in the last two months in the Springfield area. The victim in the Falls Church assault said her attacker looked like the man in the sketch, Falls Church spokeswoman Amy Betor said.
