Pollster John Zogby reports in our weekly White House report card that as President Obama talks compromise, his approval numbers tick up.

"Another mixed week for President Obama. Unemployment rate is down but job growth is sluggish and there are new worries about slipping back into no growth mode, especially with full effect of fiscal cliff showing up in the next few months. The president has been resolute with North Korean strongman Kim Jong Un and must now tamp down rhetoric a bit. But I have the president up a few points at 53 percent positive as he makes noises about compromise with the GOP."
