“Daily Show” host Jon Stewart hurled a little hilarity at the Occupy Wall Street movement this week, exclaiming that the protestors are “like the Hard Rock Cafe of leftist movements,” and noting their relevance by the fact that Mitt Romney has already flip-flopped on his views of the movement, “so you know you’ve made it when Mitt Romney has taken both sides of the argument about you,” he joked. But he almost got serious when he advised the protestors to stay civilized, pointing to a photo of one protestor defecating on a cop car as a force that could unravel the revolution. “Unfortunately, protests are often as much optics as they are about substance, and you don’t want this to be your Tiananmen Square!” he said, adding that “nothing can derail your movement faster than someone who is unable to derail their movements.”
