Donald Trump’s running mate Gov. Mike Pence defended Trump’s comment on being “sarcastic” when claiming President Obama was the “founder” of the Islamic State.
“Isn’t the sarcastic excuse getting a bit old?” “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace asked the Indiana Republican in an interview that aired Sunday. In addition to citing Trump’s comments on the Islamic State, Wallace also referenced Trump’s claiming he was being sarcastic when he asked Russia to hack Hillary Clinton.
