As their Senate counterparts were gearing up for their all-nighter on Tuesday, House Democrats were up to their own high jinks.
At a candlelight peace rally, Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., got the night started off on a goofy foot by quoting Martha Stewart.
“Martha Stewart has always said that when you are no longer welcome, it is appropriate to leave,” he said.
“When your host no longer wants or needs you, it is time to go. The Iraqi people no longer want us there.”
