J.R. Martinez recommends Petraeus for DWTS

After pondering the question for a hot second, reigning “Dancing with the Stars” champion J.R. Martinez made a decisive choice of who — among Washington types, of course — he’d like to see on the next season of the show. “Oh wow, how about General Petraeus?” he suggested. “What if we got Petraeus on season 14 of ‘Dancing with the Stars?'” The veteran and actor even had a reason for why Petraeus would have all the right stuff. “I just have faith in him right off the top because of the fact that he was with the 101st ‘Screamin’ Eagles,’ you know?” he said. “I was in the 101st myself and look how I was able to rock it, so I think General P can pull it off.” (We also hear that Petraeus is a heck of a Conga line leader). The dancing champ spent Thursday visiting the Pentagon and served as emcee to the National Rehabilitation Hospital’s 25th Anniversary Victory Awards, one of which was presented to actor “CSI’s” Robert David Hall. “He’s obviously a great advocate for people with disabilities and … he’s a top notch actor in the world of television,” Martinez said.
