Auditor releases performance audit of Oklahoma Corrections Department

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is violating a law that requires centralized food purchases, has an outdated computer system that does not adequately track the status of inmates and needs improved financial oversight, according to a performance audit released Tuesday.

The audit was performed by State Auditor and Inspector Gary Jones at the request of Gov.
