MIRAMAR, Fla. (AP) — A 3-year-old South Florida girl is recovering from a gunshot wound.
Police say the child was shot Wednesday night while at her Miramar home with her mother.
Investigators arrived at the home after the mother called 911 around 9 p.m.
The child was taken to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood. Her condition was not released.
Police are continuing to investigate.
