Actress and Bernie Sanders supporter Susan Sarandon just wasn’t having it during the Democratic National Convention.
A tweet showed Sarandon looking glum, shaking her head, and claimed she was “literally having the worst time.”
In her response to the tweet which came less than 45 minutes later, Sarandon said that it was “accurate” and later said “I’m out.”
Accurate. #DemsInPhilly #DNCinPHL https://t.co/tGYCAKARrg

Earlier this month Sanders officially endorsed Hillary Clinton, which has not gone over well with his supporters. It hasn’t given Hillary much of a boost either, as third-party candidates and GOP nominee Donald Trump have sought to attract these betrayed supporters. Sanders’ speech on Monday night at the DNC provided a stronger endorsement, which Sarandon reacted to as well.
So now it’s up to her. Don’t blame him if she loses. https://t.co/vKZwReC4ij

So don’t blame us if she loses to Trump. He did what you wanted. https://t.co/YVIXwKOlxc

Speaking with Jordan Charitan of The Young Turks, Sarandon called the DNC biased and Debbie Wasserman Schultz serving as Hillary’s honorary chair “so disgusting.” She also expressed understanding for those who went from supporting Sanders to voting for Trump over Hillary.
“A lot of people felt disenfranchised,” she said. “A lot of people are working so hard and getting nowhere. A lot of people are sick with politics the way it is. And Bernie and Trump spoke to those people.”
She dispelled the notion that Sanders supporters would automatically support Hillary back in March during an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.
Sarandon was also in the area for a climate change rally held on Sunday.
