Trump campaign group releases TV ad to celebrate first 100 days

President Trump’s campaign released a new ad Monday featuring Trump’s achievements during his first 100 days in office.

“Donald Trump, sworn in as president 100 days ago. America has rarely seen such success,” the narrator says in the 30-second ad titled “First 100 days.”

The $1.5 million ad campaign paid for by Donald J. Trump for President lists the president’s successes. “A respected Supreme Court justice: confirmed,” the narrator says referring to the confirmation of Justice Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court. The ad said Trump helped create jobs, made the U.S. become more energy independent and eliminated regulations that kill U.S. jobs.

“You won’t know it from watching the news,” the narrator says, bashing the media for its coverage of the Trump administration.

“America is winning and President Trump is making American great again,” the ad concludes.

Trump “has taken bold action to restore prosperity, keep Americans safe and secure, and hold government accountable,” the campaign said in a statement. “At an historic pace, this President has enacted more legislation and signed more executive orders than any other president in over a half century. With a focus on rebuilding the military, ending illegal immigration, and restoring confidence in our economy, the President is keeping his promises to the American people.”

Saturday marked Trump’s first 100 days since becoming president. He commemorated the day with a rally in Harrisburg, Pa.
