A member of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s, D-Calif., staff shared a video on social media Tuesday morning, claiming it showed House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., caught in an embarrassing hot microphone moment.
Except the voice heard in the video shared by Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff, Drew Hamill, clearly doesn’t belong to Ryan.
A person on the tape can be heard uttering the F-word.
The same voice added later, “Waste of my fucking time.”
The obvious problem with the video is that the obscenity uttering voice clearly doesn’t belong to the Speaker.
Just listen for yourself. There’s not even a hint of Ryan’s Wisconsin accent:
Hamill has since deleted his tweet. Anyway. That was entertaining while it lasted.
