“I was just telling these guys I’m not allowed to drive much these days, basically just my golf cart at Camp David, which is called Golf Cart One.”
– President Obama welcoming NASCAR great Jimmie Johnson and other drivers to the White House late Wednesday afternoon. Obama congratulated Johnson on winning the Sprint Cup Series and also praised him for being a great dad. Johnson presented POTUS with a pair of driving gloves to be paired with the helmet Obama had received the last time Johnson and his team were at the White House. “I will wear the helmet and the gloves when I’m driving,” Obama promised. “Helo-ing?” Johnson started. “No, Golf Cart One,” Obama replied.
