President Trump’s reelection campaign released an ad on the first day of the second Democratic primary debate, attacking each of the 2020 presidential candidates for being “all the same.”
The ad paints all the candidates as in favor of “giving illegal immigrants free healthcare at our expense” and for ending private insurance. It goes on to accuse the presidential candidates of “putting illegal immigrants before hardworking Americans.”
The ad will air on the three big cable news networks, CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News during the two-day presidential debate.
“Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. today launched a new television ad blasting Democrats for proposing free taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants while also supporting a government takeover of healthcare that would eliminate private insurance,” the campaign said in a statement. “The ad, titled ‘They’re All the Same,’ will run on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News on July 30th and 31st, coinciding with the second set of Democrat debates.”
Ten of the presidential candidates will appear on the debate stage Tuesday, headlined by Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. The remaining 10 that qualified for the debate will be on the stage Wednesday, led by 2020 front-runner Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris, who battled memorably in the last round of debates.
