It was only a matter of time. On Tuesday, Jon Stewart brought former RNC Chairman Michael Steele onto “The Daily Show” to meet his blue-felt doppelganger, Puppet Michael Steele. “You’re not Michael Steele,” Stewart says to Real Michael Steele. “We’ve had Michael Steele on the show like five time, you’re not him.” Enter Puppet Michael Steele. “Sorry I’m late Watergate,” Puppet Michael Steele says. “Who is this extremely handsome gentleman?” To sort out which Michael Steele was the legitimate Michael Steele, Puppet Michael Steele offered a challenge. “Ask us questions that only the real Michael Steele could answer,” he said. Stewart asks for the “candidates” to correctly pronounce the name of the new RNC Chairman. “Reince Priebus,” Real Michael Steele says pronouncing the name perfectly. “Reince Priebus?” Puppet Michael Steele asks. “Is that a name or are you taking a final at Hogwarts?” Wrong. With the Real Michael Steele triumphant, Puppet Michael Steele leaves the set.
