Awkward moment after CNN reporter shouts out question to Hillary Clinton at the inauguration

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived Friday morning in Washington, D.C., for the inauguration of President-elect Trump, and was submitted to an awkward news moment after a CNN reporter shouted a question at her.

“Madame secretary! How does it feel to be here today?” CNN’s Jeff Zelly shouted as the former presidential candidate stepped out of her vehicle and prepared to make her way into the Capitol building.

Another shouted, “How are you feeling, madame secretary?”

Off camera, CNN’s inauguration day roundtable, which included Jack Tapper, Wolf Blitzer, John King and David Axelrod can be heard laughing, and one even muttered, “Oh, boy.”

“Probably want to come up with a different opener,” another CNN personality said off-camera.

Clinton then disappeared from the frame, and made her way to the ceremony in which her election opponent will be sworn in as the next president of the United States.
