Police are asking for help finding the man who has been slashing young women at Fairfax County stores. Police said at least five women in their teens and early 20s have been cut. The most recent happened Monday, at the Forever XXI store at the Fair Oaks Mall, police said.
The man distracts the women, then cuts them with a box cutter or razor, police said.
Another incident was reported at the Marshall’s at Greenbriar Shopping Center on June 20. Police on Wednesday released images of the slasher from that incident.
The slasher is described as Hispanic, in his late 20s, about 5-foot-6 and having a heavy build.
