VIDEO: Biden announces $450 million in job training grants

Vice President Joe Biden, joined by Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez, announced the winners of $450 million in job training grants.

The grant money will be spread out around 270 community colleges and almost 400 employers nationwide to train workers to find jobs. The grants are aimed at bolstering the middle class in an effort to get more people in high-demand positions such as registered nurses and cybersecurity jobs.

“These grants provide hard-working Americans just their fair shot. And given their fair shot, as I said at the outset, the American people have never, ever, ever let their country down,” Biden said.
