Deanna Baldwin was one of five Maryland Department of Agriculture employees recognized by Agriculture Secretary Roger Richardson for 30 years of service to the agency.
The food quality assurance program manager, who joined the agency in 1978, develops and implements food quality and safety programs.
She was appointed to the National Advisory Committee on Meat and Poultry Inspection from 2003 to 2004.
Baldwin, of Anne Arundel County, also was honored as the MDA’s employee of the year in 1993 and received the Maryland Egg Council Friend of the Industry Award in 1997 and 2006.
