In addition to running for president, Ben Carson is an accomplished neurosurgeon who has won many awards and medals. He’s also an apologetic Christian. As Gawker put it, “Ben Carson loves two people in this (and other) worlds: Jesus and Ben Carson. His house, naturally, reflects that.”
Gawker’s piece highlighted certain portraits hanging in Carson’s Maryland home, as revealed by the Guardian.
The pictures, all taken by Mark Makela, show a man who is proud of his work and devout in his faith. As the Guardian introduces the gallery though:
