Ohio glass maker capitalizing on black bottles

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — A glass bottle maker based in Ohio is hoping to see more green with its black bottles.

Black is the new hot color for Owens-Illinois Inc., which said it’s increasing its black-glass production capabilities at its plants worldwide to meet higher demand.
