Does Delaware politics have room for two outspoken alumni of Bill Maher’s “Politically Incorrect” show?
That’s what Delawareans will find out Thursday when Senator Al Franken, D-Minn., heads to The First State to stump for Democratic Senate nominee Chris Coons.
“Senator Franken will talk to volunteers about why our race is so important and how volunteers can make a difference on November 2,” Coons campaign manager Christy Gleason said in a Monday blog post for the Delaware Democratic Party.
With less than a month to go to election day, most polls show Coons leading by double-digits in the race against Republican opponent Christine O’Donnell.
